About the Salary to Hourly Calculator
The Salary to Hourly Calculator converts pay between every common period: hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, monthly and yearly. Type what you know, choose the period, and every other figure is calculated at once. It is a quick way to compare a salaried job offer against an hourly one, work out what a raise means per paycheck, or check what your freelance day rate adds up to over a year.
The conversion assumes a standard schedule you can change: 40 hours per week and 52 paid weeks per year by default, giving 2,080 working hours. If you take unpaid time off, lower the weeks; if you routinely work more than 40 hours, raise the hours to see your true hourly rate.
All amounts are gross (before tax). Take-home pay depends on your country, tax bracket, retirement contributions and benefits.
