About the Age Calculator
The Age Calculator tells you exactly how old you are, or how old you will be on any date. Rather than just years, it counts full years, then full months, then remaining days, following the same calendar rules people use to say "36 years, 2 months and 10 days". It also converts your age to total months, weeks, days and hours, tells you which day of the week you were born, and counts down to your next birthday.
The calculation walks the calendar, so months of different lengths and leap years are handled correctly. If you were born on 29 February, your birthday is taken as 28 February in non-leap years.
Beyond curiosity, exact age matters for forms, eligibility thresholds, insurance and legal documents where "years completed" is required.
