This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on ToolNest. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and web beacons.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
ToolNest does not require any cookies to function. The tools themselves store nothing on your device unless a tool explicitly offers to remember a setting, in which case it uses local storage that stays on your device only.
Advertising cookies
We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its certified partners may set cookies such as IDE, test_cookie, NID or __gads to measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud and, where you have consented, show ads that are more relevant to you. These cookies are set by third parties and are governed by their own policies. Learn more at Google's cookie policy.
Analytics cookies
If analytics is enabled, cookies such as _ga and _ga_* help us count visits and see which tools are used most. This information is aggregated and anonymous.
Your choices
- Consent message: visitors in regions with consent requirements (such as the EEA and UK) see a message on their first visit where they can accept or reject non-essential cookies and change their choice later.
- Browser settings: all modern browsers let you block or delete cookies. Look for "Privacy" or "Site data" in your browser's settings. Blocking cookies does not affect how the tools work.
- Ad personalisation: opt out at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Changes
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
